"Lobortas" Classic Jewelry House (before 2006 – Lobortas Jewelry House) is one of the most original jewelry companies in Kiev and in Ukraine. Production process starts with an idea or a sketch of the future object and ends with a completely finished jewel.  All stages between the start and the end of production process also take place strictly inside the Jewelry House workshops and studios. All jewelry pieces by "Lobortas" are hand-made; industrial technologies such as molding are used very seldom. That is why each jewel is exclusive – it has no copies.

 

   As one of the most successful jewelry companies "Lobortas" Classic Jewelry House has got a lot of awards in Ukraine. Several national museums keep "Lobortas" works as valuable exhibits of their collections. Some words about our works you can find in ”Top-200: Names of the XX-th century” – a book that tells about leaders of applied arts in Ukraine. “The Dance of an Angel” ring created in 2006 was registered in Ukraine Book of Records as a jewel decorated with the largest quantity of stones – you can find 837 diamonds on its surface.  International Committee, which represents many European royal courts and persons like Feberge granddaughter Tatiana Faberge, has decided to award Igor Lobortas (House founder) a Karl Faberge Order. One of the popular Ukrainian weekly magazines “Focus” included "Lobortas" Classic Jewelry House in Top-50 of the most successful companies in Ukrainian luxury market.

 

In 2008, according to Ukrainian Orthodox Church order, "Lobortas" created a special object –  “inextinguishable icon lamp”. Holy Easter fire from Jerusalem was delivered to Ukraine in this lamp. Jewelry House also has produced a lot of works for state governors and deputy corps members. Many jewels by "Lobortas" are abroad in private collections.
